What a year it has been for the Southern Nevada Conservancy! As we reflect on the accomplishments and milestones achieved over our last fiscal year, which ended on September 30, we are filled with immense pride and gratitude. The dedication of our staff and volunteers allowed SNC to host 30,768 program particpants and 1,375 volunteers, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the experience of our public lands. We are proud to celebrate our 35th year of offering a myriad of educational and recreational programs that have become a hallmark of visitor experiences at the sites where we work. However, we want to emphasize that none of this would have been possible without your support.

It’s important to understand that tax dollars can only cover a fraction of management, visitor services, and repairs on our public lands. This is where organizations like the Southern Nevada Conservancy step in as indispensable on-site nonprofit support. We not only fund and execute the programmatic work that visitors have come to cherish, but also invest heavily in the often unseen background efforts that safeguard and preserve the land and its environment such as trail signage, litter and invasive plant removal, and strategic planning. Our commitment also extends to fostering connections with Tribal Members indigenous to these areas, engaging them in ongoing projects, and celebrating their rich cultural heritage.

As we look ahead to the upcoming year, we earnestly request your support to help us continue our mission of stewardship, education, and conservation. Your generous donation will enable us to maintain and expand the high-quality programs that make our public lands accessible, educational, and enjoyable for all. Whether it’s preserving the natural beauty of our sites, educating the next generation of environmental stewards, or fostering cultural connections, your contribution will be instrumental in making it all possible. Join us in safeguarding Nevada’s public lands and ensuring that they remain accessible and intact for generations to come. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact on the land and the communities we serve. Thank you for your support!
